Steps

  1. Open Google Play application
  2. Swipe out the navigation drawer and choose Settings
  3. Go in the Play Store settings and tap Auto-update apps
  4. Tap on "Do not auto-update apps"

Warning

  1. So when you want to update an application, simply swipe out the navigation drawer and choose "My apps and games"!
