Stop code: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
Update CFW
Nintendo
Steps
- Make a backup (on the Switch and copy to PC) of all your games with Checkpoint with "Hold Y" to select everything and "Press L" to save everything
> Hold R while launching any game- /!\ Remember to sort so as not to have too many versions of your saves of the same game
- Update the RCM Loader (using the "hekate_ctcaer_x.x.x.bin" after renaming it to "payload.bin")
- /!\ Rename the file "hekate_ctcaer_x.x.x.bin" to "payload.bin" and put it in the folder "\ATMOSPHERE_HEKATE\payload.bin" of the RCM Loader
- /!\ If with chip, put it in the root of the microSD and no need for RCM Loader
- Download the desired firmware (take the most recent) and unzip everything into the "Firmware xx.x.x" folder at the root of your micro SD
- /!\ Check that Atmosphere is compatible with the desired firmware, otherwise no CFW possible
- Update your Atmosphere + Fusee + Hekate + Sigpatches to the latest version to support the desired firmware
- /!\ The fusee.bin corresponding to the AMS version must be in "/bootloader/payloads/"
- Launch Daybreak via hbmenu
- /!\ Not compatible with Applet mode, so you must launch a game in Full mode before (hold R when launching any game and the Applet Mode in red will disappear on the next launch)
- Select "Install"
- Select the "Firmware xx.x.x" folder at the root of your micro SD (after unarchiving it)
- /!\ If the update is valid, then you can continue
- Select "Preserve settings"
- Select "Install FAT32 + exFAT", then "Continue"
- /!\ If you were to install the FAT32 version while your micro SD is formatted in exFAT, Atmosphère will no longer start
- You can restart
- /!\ No need for the RCM Loader to do this, just wait (if nothing after a long time, then start it in CFW mode because it may have just shut down instead of restarting)
- Delete the "Firmware xx.x.x" folder at the root of the microSD
- /!\ First check in the console settings the version
- Install Tinfoil again (via the auto installer in the hbmenu)
> Hold R while launching any game- /!\ If there is an error, use "Tinwoo" (the same way) to install the Tinfoil NSP (XCI folder) on the SDCard (accepting the NCA)
Warning
- If you have an SX Core chip, then copy paste the "hekate_ctcaer_x.x.x.bin" into "\payload.bin" so that the "boot.ini" can use it
