Steps

  1. Open the Control Panel
  2. Click System and Security
  3. Under Power Options, click the Change what power buttons do link
  4. Click on the Change settings that are currently unavailable link
  5. Check the Turn on fast startup (recommended) box
  6. Fast startup is now activated
