Steps

  1. Close Android Studio
  2. Go to "C:\Users\UserName\.android" and rename the build-cache folder to build-cache.bak
  3. Go to "C:\Users\UserName\.AndroidStudio3.2\system" (3.2 is my current version, but it can be newer) and rename (with simply adding .bak) to these following folders:
  4. caches
  5. compile-server
  6. compiler
  7. conversion
  8. external_build_system
  9. frameworks
  10. gradle
  11. resource_folder_cache
  12. Open the Android Studio and open your project again
